Rybelsus

Rybelsus is an oral medication used in providing medical relief to individuals with type 2 diabetes. It is available under the generic version Semaglutide. Only adults are allowed to use this medicine. It is not suitable for treating type 1 diabetes.

Uses of Rybelsus

The recommended use of Rybelsus is to improve blood sugar, in combination with healthy diet and regular exercise, short of employing Insulin.

Rybelsus Warning and Precautions

Rybelsus is not recommended if you have a history of the following medical conditions:

• Tumors of the glands
• Thyroid cancer
• Diabetic ketoacidosis

Avoid this medicine should you be allergic to Rybelsus. Always remember that any form of hypersensitivity can be fatal. It is dangerous to the health.

After your diagnosis, you will receive a Rybelsus prescription. However, if you have been previously diagnosed with kidney problems or retinopathy, your dosage will need an adjustment. This action will ensure your safety as you start your Rybelsus treatment.

Rybelsus Dosage

Rybelsus treatment only applies to adults. Although, your healthcare professional will still reassess the right treatment based on your weight and medical history.

The following is your Rybelsus dosage:

• Take 3 mg of Rybelsus daily. Follow this frequency for 30 full days.
• Your dosage will increase to 7 to 14mg daily if treatment maintenance is necessary.

Note: Following the dosage is a must to prevent the development of cardiovascular problems. The maximum dose for Rybelsus is 14 mg per day; however, it is not recommended.
