Farxiga regulates high blood sugar levels by helping the kidneys dispose glucose from the bloodstream. Together with proper diet and exercise, Forxiga is used to improve blood glucose levels in individuals with Type 2 Diabetes. Farxiga is available under the generic name Dapagliflozin.
Farxiga 5mg is injested orally as often as prescibed by the doctor, usually once a day with or without meals in the morning. The dosage takes into consideration the body’s glucose level and reception to the treatment.
Take the Farxiga at the same time everyday with water. In the case of missing a dose, take it as soon as remembered unless close to the next scheduled dose. Otherwise, skip the missed dose and continue the regular dosing schedule. Avoid double dosing or making up for missed doses as the body has to get used to the consistent regulation of the blood glucose levels. Forxiga must be swallowed whole— do not break or chew tablet.
