Uses of Baclofen
Baclofen is an antispasmodic agent. Is used to help relax certain muscles in your body. It relieves the spasms, cramping, and tightness of muscles caused by medical problems, including multiple sclerosis or certain injuries to the spine. Baclofen does not cure these problems, but it may allow other treatment, such as physical therapy, to be more helpful in improving your condition.
Baclofen acts on the central nervous system (CNS) to produce its muscle relaxant effects. Its actions on the CNS may also cause some of the medicine’s side effects. Baclofen may also be used to relieve other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Precautions and Warnings
Do not use baclofen at a time when you need muscle tone for safe balance and movement during certain activities. Baclofen may make you drowsy. Do not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this medicine affects you. Do not stop using this medicine suddenly, or you could have unpleasant withdrawal symptoms. Ask your doctor about the safe use of alcoholic beverages while you are taking baclofen. Alcohol can make the side effects from baclofen worse.
You should not use this medicine if you are allergic to baclofen.
To make sure this medicine is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:
- mental illness or psychosis;
- epilepsy or other seizure disorder;
- problems with balance;
- cerebral palsy;
- Parkinson’s disease;
- schizophrenia or a confused state;

Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, or breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. If you take baclofen while pregnant or breastfeeding, withdrawal symptoms such as tremors, stiff muscles, or seizure may occur in the baby.

Will the pills or packaging be different when I order from YouDrugstore?
If you usually take a brand name pill and have instead ordered a generic drug, your pills may look different. Although they may look different, generic versions of a drug have the same active ingredients and work in exactly the same way as the brand-name medication. The appearance of medication or packaging may also differ from country to country, even though the strength is the same. For example, Celexa 20MG is usually a peach-colored pill, but in Canada it is white and slightly smaller, even though the same company manufactures both pills. Two different brands of generic medication may also look different because they are made by different manufacturers, although they are equivalent in every other way.
How does medication from Canada differ from medication in other regions of the world?
Canada has high standards and regulations governing the manufacturing of medication and health products and the licensing of doctors and pharmacists. Despite some possible cosmetic differences, medication from Canada is the same quality and strength as medication from other areas like the United States.
Why are prices on YouDrugstore different from prices at other pharmacies?
Unlike some regions of the world, Canadian medication prices are regulated with limits on how much patients have to pay for their prescriptions. This means that Canadian drug costs are often lower than other regions.
