Leqvio

Leqvio (Inclisiran) is a prescription medication used to lower levels of “bad” LDL cholesterol in adults with a history of cardiovascular disease or those at high risk of developing it. It works by enhancing the liver’s ability to remove LDL cholesterol from the bloodstream. Leqvio is used alongside a cholesterol-lowering diet and other medications, such as statins, when additional cholesterol reduction is needed.
